Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a qualified Urologist to join our staff.

   

$60,000 Residency Stipend, Generous Sign-On Bonus, Competitive Compensation Package and Visa Sponsorship Available.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated healthcare system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description  & Responsibilities

  1. Join an established group of 3 MDs and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians
  2. 180-Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
  3. Instant Referral Base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians
  4. Full Support Staff including APC’s with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction
  5. Call Responsibility limited to Primary Hospital with APC taking 1st Inpatient Call
  6. State-of-the-Art OR’s with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System
  7. Salary Range: $515,000 - $619,000 with significant incentive potential. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
  8. Bassett offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
  9. Sign-on Bonus up to $200,000
  10. Residency stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation. If applicable, candidate must be permitted to receive the stipend under U.S. immigration laws.

Job Qualifications

  1. MD, DO or MBBS
  2. Board Eligible or Board Certified
  3. New York State Licensure
  4. BLS Certification Required
  5. DEA Required
