Job Description

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a talented Transplant Nephrologist to join the faculty of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in Nashville, Tennessee.


Position Highlights:

  1. The Nephrology division is comprised of a multi-disciplinary and internationally recognized faculty of 70 clinicians and researchers and 18 fellows. Our growing clinical program, which supports 300-350 kidney transplants annually, provides cutting-edge, comprehensive clinical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and 4 satellite transplant clinics.
  2. Our transplant nephrologists provide care to pre- and post-transplant patients and living donors in both inpatient and outpatient settings primarily at our main campus in Nashville, TN.
  3. Work closely with transplant nephrology and general nephrology fellows and participate in clinical or translational research and/or QI projects during protected academic time.

Qualifications: MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology and successful completion of both a general nephrology fellowship and an AST-certified transplant nephrology fellowship.
