About the Opportunity

Join a thriving breast surgical oncology practice supporting a busy surgeon dedicated to excellence in patient care. This role involves managing both inpatient and outpatient care, overseeing postoperative management, conducting breast cancer risk assessments, and providing ongoing surveillance. You’ll be an integral member of a close-knit, highly experienced team including 1 surgeon, 2 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 surgery scheduler.

Requirements

  • Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in breast surgical oncology is highly desired – this is the first APP position supporting a busy surgeon, so candidates with a strong background in breast care will excel.
  • APP Breast Certification through the American Society of Breast Surgeons is preferred (or the ability to initiate certification after six months in the breast surgery practice).
  • Must be credentialed with INW Deaconess and Valley Hospitals.
