Hematology Job at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN

IU Health is seeking a patient-focusedphysicianto join our inpatient hematology team. Practice locations include IU Health University and Eskenazi Health in downtown Indianapolis. This is an academicopportunity with clinicalcomponents.

Position Highlights:

• 25% Clinical and 75% Academic
• Monday - Friday
• Call: 4-6 weekends annually
• Eligible IU School of Medicine Benefits

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
• Oversee the interdisciplinary team and residents/ medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties
• Provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services
• Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department

Minimum job requirements

• BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
• ObtainIN license
• MD, DO or equivalent education
