About the Opportunity
- Opening due to retirement
- BE/BC fellowship trained Hematologist/Oncologist
- Hospital employed
- Established community practice in Warwick and Cranston
- Average patient census 15-20
- Infusion center conveniently located in the same building
- Primarily outpatient with inpatient consultations at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI
- 24/7 Hospitalist team and Intensivist coverage at Kent
- Breast Health Center located on the grounds of Kent Hospital
- Rotating call coverage 1:4 – primarily phone, with hospital consultations as needed.
- Participation in weekly multi-disciplinary prospective tumor board
- Clinical teaching/precepting of internal medicine residents available
- Support for clincal trials and research
- EPIC implemented across the health system
- Support for a faculty appointment at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
- Guaranteed base compensation with incentive bonus plus a rich benefits package that includes occurrence based malpractice
