Addiction Medicine Faculty needed for established Fellowship Program

Job Description

The MultiCare Addiction Medicine Fellowship is seeking a full-time faculty physician to join our team! This role provides the opportunity to train exceptional residents and fellows as part of the East Pierce Family Medicine Residency while serving patients across multiple clinical sites.

Position Overview

  • As an Addiction Medicine Faculty Physician, you will have the opportunity to work across the following clinical areas:
  • Outpatient Addiction Medicine practice
  • Inpatient Addiction Medicine hospital consultation
  • Inpatient START (Substance Treatment and Recovery Training) Unit for pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorders
  • Board eligibility/certification in both your primary specialty (such as Family Medicine or Obstetrics) and Addiction Medicine is required. FTE can be adjusted to accommodate work in another clinical area (such as primary care).

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible in your primary specialty and Addiction Medicine at the time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
