Position Overview
Nicklaus Children's Heart Institute is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join our world-class team dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with congenital and acquired heart disease. This physician will play a key role in a 34-bed dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with 24-hour coverage, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver state-of-the-art critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
The Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist will report to the Medical Director of the CICU and work in close collaboration with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence, quality improvement, education, and research, aligning with the strategic goals of Nicklaus Children’s Heart Institute.
