Job Description

The Section of Cardiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health, and University Health Physicians seek staff faculty members for a Non-invasive Cardiology role. The individual should have the clinical, academic, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic section. This is a full-time position.

Practice Highlights

  • Flexible call rotation
  • Academic practice and academic appointment, with integrated teaching and clinical research
  • ACGME accredited IM residency and cardiology fellowship program
  • A full array of industry leading, innovative clinical trials and opportunity to author peer-review publications
  • Team of 4 noninvasive cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists and 7 advanced practice registered nurses
  • Practice is a mix of general and interventional Cardiology including cardiac catheterization, and PCI. No structural cases.
  • Expected clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding at University Health Truman Medical Center and outpatient consultative work at two practice sites.
  • New Cath lab
  • Fully wired with CERNER – Power Chart

Qualified Candidates

  1. Board certified or board eligible in cardiology
  • Eligible for state licensure in the state of Missouri
  • H1/J1 candidates are welcome to apply
