Internist Job at Tandem Health in Sumter, SC

The Internal Medicine Physician provides direct care to adults of all ages in a primary care setting. Performs medical services including examinations and evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, consultations, and health education to patients and their caregivers within the scope of internal medicine. Responsibilities include precepting the Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and assuming an active role in meetings, provider CPI activities and other team-building activities. Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer

Qualifications:

• Must have successfully completed medical training at a (4) four-year accredited medical school and received a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.) Doctoral Degree.
• Completed successfully a residency in Internal Medicine and is Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Current license with the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Medical Examiners.
• Current CPR certification required.
