Job Summary:

TidalHealth Peninsula Regional is seeking an Electrophysiologist for medical facilities who is a team player, interested in joining a close-knit department to work in a truly integrated cardiac center and multi-disciplinary collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related conditions.
• Perform electrophysiology studies, ablations, pacemaker and ICD implantations, and lead extractions.
• Interpret electrocardiograms (EKG), Holter monitors, event monitors, and other diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about arrhythmia conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrophysiology and contribute to research or clinical trials if applicable.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Training: Completed a residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Cardiology and an advanced fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Licensure: Board certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology (or eligibility). Active or be able to obtain a medical license in Maryland.
• Skills:
• Expertise in cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
