Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Dallas, Pa. We now have a newly increased compensation plan for the 2025 year!
Our clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services are also provided.

$10k recruitment incentive - 2-year work obligation with department (not applicable for internal, lateral transfer)
Geography Stipend – $7,800 - guaranteed for 1 year after which time the stipend is evaluated for continuance
Attractive scheduleOffice Hours - Monday - Friday 8:45 am – 8:15 pm Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am – 6:15 pm
14 rotating shifts/month; work every other weekend
No overnight shifts and no mandated additional shifts
Call approximately six nights per year; no direct patient call – for critical lab, CT, etc.
Six observed holidays - Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
Work autonomously with limited administrative burden

Education and experience (Required):
Due to the autonomous nature of the position, Advanced Practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older, and have at minimum six months of Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Critical Care Advanced Practice experience.
