Job Description

River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide compassionate, high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position involves working with adolescent (ages 13-18), adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on youth in our 12-bed adolescent unit. Our facility, a 60 bed free standing unit in Charleston, SC also offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Deliver both inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative environment
Offer clinical supervision to a team of mid-level providers
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support integrated patient care
Participate in call rotation with 1 weekend per month, including rounding
Ensure compliance with documentation and care standards

Requirements:

Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Valid medical license in the state of South Carolina
Experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, particularly with adolescent populations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based setting
