Nuvance Health, proudly joining Northwell Health, is seeking a Divisional Director of Gynecologic
Oncology to lead programmatic development and service line growth across the Hudson Valley.
This leadership position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) in Poughkeepsie,
NY—just 75 minutes north of New York City.
The ideal candidate will bring vision and experience to grow an integrated, multidisciplinary
gynecologic oncology program and collaborate with system-wide leadership to expand access,
elevate quality, and drive innovation. Join an established, collaborative team providing surgery and chemotherapy. Practice is building to three gyn oncology physicians and three gyn oncology advanced practice providers.
Position Highlights:
• Senior leadership opportunity as Divisional Director to oversee and grow gynecologic oncology services across the Hudson Valley
• Collaborate with over 25 Northwell gynecologic oncologists across New York through a research and innovation partnership focused on clinical trials and translational research
• Join a dedicated team providing surgical and chemotherapeutic care with advanced technologies including da Vinci Xi robotic systems and HIPEC
• Work in a fully integrated cancer program alongside surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists
• Participate in systemwide strategic planning, quality improvement, and academic initiatives
• Competitive salary range of $550,000–$700,000 (commensurate with experience), plus comprehensive benefits, CME support including 10 days of CME time, and relocation support
• Employed role within a collaborative, physician-led health system
