Hospitalist Job at University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY

The University of Rochester affiliate hospital network is seeking Hospitalist and Nocturnist physicians to join its expanding inpatient medicine programs. Work alongside other MD/DO and APP colleagues in our developing Regional Hospital Medicine Division, including potential teaching opportunities/medical education development. 

We are seeking Hospitalists for our affiliates Jones Memorial Hospital (Wellsville NY), St. James Hospital (Hornell NY), and  Geneva General Hospital (Geneva NY)

• 7 on/7 off - days (on site 7a-7p or similar) - other block schedules available 
• 1 MD and 2 APPs per day shift - pager call overnight (5p-8a) for solo Nocturnist APP (low volume - avg 1-2 calls/mo total)
  
• Support from Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, and General Surgery for procedures; Respiratory Therapy available 
• Average ~10 admissions/day

We are seeking Nocturnists for our affiliate Noyes Memorial Hospital (Dansville NY)

• 7 on/14 off (0.8 FTE) - 7p-7a 
• Solo coverage of Med/Surg and ICU pts - backup support from Emergency Medicine and Respiratory Therapy, on-call Anesthesiology and General Surgery, daytime support from IR, Pulmonary Critical Care for procedures/ICU 
• Average ~5-8 admissions/night
