Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Fort Smith, AR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.50 - $62.25 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday to Friday, at least 8 hours per day, during normal office hours (6:30 am - 5:30 pm). No holidays, nights, or weekends.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services to patients. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent speech-language disorders, working closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities
- Speech-Language Evaluations: Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with company guidelines.
- Treatment Plans: Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and update them as necessary.
- Documentation: Complete required documentation, including service and therapy notes, within established timelines.
- Supervision and Mentoring: Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and college/university students in speech-language pathology as needed.
- Patient Referrals: Refer patients for additional clinical services when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team functions such as parent meetings, peer reviews, workshops, and mandatory trainings.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Public Representation: Represent the program positively to parents, visitors, and the public.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Licensing/Certification:
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (Arkansas).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or in the process of obtaining during Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Current ASHA membership, unless completing CFY.
- Experience: At least one year of successful experience in a similar position preferred.
