Mary Washington Healthcare’s Gastroenterology practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible GI Generalists and Advanced Trained Gastroenterologists to join our growing practice of eleven physicians and nine advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated and committed to delivering exceptional care and compassion to our patients.

Job Description:

• Shared call and inpatient responsibilities, with call expectation of 4-5 weeks per year.
• Scribes are available to provide support in the clinic.

• EPIC EMR Hospital and Clinic, Modernizing Medicine and ProVation in endoscopy centers
• Brand new, innovative Endoscopy Center with 4 procedure rooms supported by specialized endoscopy nursing staff. Potential opportunity to invest in the Center is available upon achieving certain parameters.

• Full endoscopy unit, with specialized nursing staff supporting full range of general and advanced procedures, including Barrx radiofrequency ablation system, EUS guided cyst gastrostomy and Spyglass.
• Top of the line Olympus 190 scopes and 100% anesthesia support at all locations.
• Expert surgical and interventional radiology support
• Work with highly qualified, friendly colleagues in a supportive work environment.
• Opportunity to work with internal medicine residents.
