Internist Job at The Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville, GA

Longstreet Clinic is seeking a caring, experienced and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for our growing practice in Gainesville, Ga. The doctor must possess a compassionate spirit for excellent patient care. The doctor must also have superior clinical skills and ability to work in a team oriented setting.

This includes but not limited to performing age-appropriate history and physical for patients. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs. Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible MD or DO
• Graduate of an accredited Program
• Current Georgia license or ability to obtain a Georgia license is required
• Strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, Empathy, Compassion, and ability to work as a team
• Excellent bedside manner and solid clinical judgement
• Proficient in the use of simple medical instruments and equipment
