Emergency Medicine Physician Job at Western Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant needed for Emergency Medicine Coverage in Arizona.

I'm hopeful you or a potential colleague may have some upcoming EM Coverage availability in the State of Arizona in the 2026 year? 

We have an attractive (can also be a long-term consistent arrangement) Lower Volume EM Management contract in Central Arizona, not too far from the Phoenix Metro Area!

We can get someone on the schedule and started anytime beginning around late December 2025 / early January 2026 and onward. February/March start dates also possible. 

-Candidates we're seeking: Flexible PRN fill-in, consistent part-time and full-time/long-term interests.  

ED PRACTICE DETAILS: 

-Around 8500 Annual Volume ED.

-This EDs volume is busier from October>April with May>September having much less visits.

-Staffing will be adjusted for the busy season with added APP coverage for a 12hr swing shift.

-24hr Physician Shifts year-round.

-12hr APP Shifts run 11a-11p 7 days a week from October 1st through April 30th.

-ED Duties only, No Inpatient.

-Friendly Community Hospital setting.

-Credentialing takes about 3-4 weeks.

-PRN through Full-time openings.

-Very reasonable daily workloads.

-Currently need candidates able to drive to the site, no flights provided.

-Accepting: Arizona Licensed NPs or PAs with prior EM based experience. 

PROVIDED: Competitive pay rates. Flexible or consistent monthly scheduling. Stable long-term/ongoing 1099 based coverage needs. Full med-mal insurance with tail provided.
