Meadville Medical Center’s Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute was newly constructed in 2008. Designed to provide an aesthetically pleasing, serene escape from the stress of a life threatening diagnosis.

We work collaboratively with our Midlevel Practitioners and a trusted internal medicine physician to reduce your call burden. Depending on your needs, we can customize your work schedule to fit your best life. Oncology can be very demanding. Your selfcare matters to us. Counselors and Therapy Dogs that are available to our patients are also available to help our staff and providers.

Joining a team of 6 Medical Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 4 Midlevel Practitioners.

Oncology Certified Nurses

EMR is Varian, transitioning to Meditech in May 2026.

Radiation Therapy is provided via Varian’s True Beam, offering IMRT and SBRT treatments.

High volume Breast, Lung, Prostate, Colon, and Hematologic malignancies.

Actively recruiting patients for 5 Clinical Trials (breast & prostate) at this time.
