Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana UniversityHealth Physicians are seekinga Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Surgeon to join our team of fellowship-trained breast surgeonsand advanced practice providers within theDivision of Breast Surgery.This is an outstanding opportunity to join both an established and growing Breast Surgery Program.This position will have the opportunity to help us build a new Breast Surgery program atour well-established IU Health Fishers Hospitalwhile also having the support of six fellowship-trained breast surgeons.The role will have strong nursing and administrative support.Collaborationand interaction with a multi-disciplinary teamto promote high quality patient outcomes is essential.Candidates will have an opportunity to participate in the education ofmedical students, residents and our breast surgery fellow.Strongly consider being part of ourteam that provides leading-edge medicine and a highly collaborative practice environment withinthe state’s leading healthcare organization.

Department of Surgery The IUSM Department of Surgery is committed to the education and development of excellent surgical clinicians, incorporating the skills, knowledge, and competencies essential for providing a high standard of care to residents across the state of Indiana and beyond. Faculty educators in the Department of Surgery strive to advance surgical scientists and their research and aim to instill the leadership qualities that will empower graduates to excel in all practice settings.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must have M.D., DO, or equivalent education
  • Completed, or currently enrolled ina Breast Fellowship
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication skills
