Deaconess Specialty Physicians is seeking two full-time, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologists to join a well-established, physician-led cardiology and cardiovascular surgical group. With 25 physicians and 20+ advanced practice providers, the group is a regional leader in the care and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The candidate will work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing high-quality cardiology services across multiple locations in Indiana (Evansville and Newburgh) and Kentucky (Henderson). One position will primarily work in Henderson, KY and the other will work primarily in Indiana (Evansville & Newburgh). Both positions may work at the other locations noted.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cardiology Fellowship Completion: Must have completed a cardiology fellowship and be proficient in non-invasive procedures, including but not limited to:
- TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)
- Cardioversion
- Echocardiology
- Nuclear stress testing
- Outpatient & Inpatient Care: Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services across Deaconess Health System locations in Henderson, KY, Evansville, IN, and Newburgh, IN.
- Call Coverage: Participate in the general cardiology call rotation with limited inpatient service line duties, with an anticipated 1:5 weekday/weekend call.
- Collaboration with APPs: Work closely with outpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the clinic and inpatient APPs in the hospital setting.
- Research & Growth Opportunities: Engage in a progressive practice with potential growth opportunities, including involvement in cardiology research.
- Heart Group Outreach Clinics: Participate in successful outreach clinics staffed by Deaconess Heart Group offices in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois.
- Non-Invasive Departments: Work in three dedicated non-invasive departments located at Gateway, Midtown, and Henderson Hospitals.
- High-Volume Practice: Manage a high-volume non-invasive department and clinic, providing excellent patient care.
- Professionalism & Communication: Maintain polished professionalism with excellent communication skills and superior bedside manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Required: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.
- Proficiency in non-invasive cardiology procedures such as TEE, cardioversion, echocardiology, and nuclear stress testing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on providing excellent patient care and bedside manner.
- Ability to work effectively within a physician-led governance structure.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: Income guarantee of $650K per year for the first three years in Henderson, KY or first year guarantee in Evansville/Newburgh, IN.
