PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Join a Heart & Vascular team comprised of 14 physicians and 10 APPs in a vibrant and growing practice support by an Integrated Heart and Vascular System Service Line

·            Ideal candidate is trained in the core areas of adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery

·            Work with experienced CT surgeons and PA support in hospital, clinic, and OR.

• Enjoy convenient access between the clinic and hospital for inpatient and outpatient activities (hospital and clinic located in the same building). 
• Comprehensive non-invasive and invasive cardiology, EP, structural heart (TAVR), peripheral vascular, and pediatric cardiovascular programs
• Excellent technical, nursing and support personnel in all aspects of the practice.
• 1:3 call rotation.

·            The full spectrum of surgical approaches including both open and minimally invasive/robotic surgery

·            Complex esophageal procedures  including the use of alternative conduits and multiple revision surgery for benign and malignant disease.

·            Mediastinal surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques

·            Complicated pulmonary surgery with a focus on parenchymal preserving procedures and bronchoplastic techniques; endoscopic and open airway interventions.

·            Chest wall reconstruction and or resection for tumors, infection, radiation necrosis, and trauma.

·            Advanced robotic surgery  as applied to all facets of thoracic surgery

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE in CV/CT Surgery
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team orientation, leadership skills a plus
