Internal Medicine Physician Job with Curana Health in Orangeburg, SC

  Curana Health is a provider-led, primary, and post-acute organization focused on senior living communities and senior living residents. This position is ideal for a physician who appreciates a flexible work schedule and wants to avoid mandatory 12-hour work shifts or increasing unpaid time for after-hour clinic work duties. There is limited, or no call required, and the schedule is flexible but must be able to round, once weekly for a few hours in person. 

Responsibilities include:

• Manage new admissions
• Take care of patient visits, rounding and completed notes based on agreed schedule with facility partners and patient day-to-day needs
• Ensure exceptional patient care in a post-acute care setting
• Patient volume is approximately 8 to 15 patients each day
• Appropriate engage with the multidisciplinary care team in building for quality and patient care needs
• Help foster positive collaboration among care teams through open communication
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active STATE license and DEA license in good standing
• Proficiency with EMR
