In 2007, VEA added Hospital Medicine through its subsidiary, Victoria Hospitalist Associates. Victoria Hospitalist Associates (VHA) is seeking a full-time Hospital Medicine physician to join our team in Victoria, TX.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• An inpatient  rehabilitation facility  recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and offering round-the-clock nursing care and at least three hours of  physical,  occupational  and/or  speech therapy
• A designated Primary  Stroke Center
• Both Level III and Level IV Trauma Centers
• A Level III  Neonatal Intensive Care Unit  with the area’s only program providing 24-hour coverage with in-house neonatologists
