Associate Vice President, Medical Operations Urgent Care Services Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care
We are seeking a highly experienced board physician to join our leadership team as the Associate Vice President, Medical Operations for Urgent Care Services. This role will be responsible for overseeing the adherence to professional standards for the medical group s employed physicians.
The AVP, Medical Operations of Urgent Care Services will:
- Identify and direct best practice standards, including establishing clinical policies, procedures, rules, regulations and methods of operation related to the Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Establish quality metrics and initiate process improvement programs.
- Provide direct patient care as a scheduled provider for the requisite number of hours per pay period as stipulated by leadership Defined by employment contract. 75% Administrative and 25% clinical responsibilities.
- Help develop and support Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Network's strategy to increase exposure and to enhance the image of the Program to health care providers and residents.
- Participate in strategic and operational planning and development of patient education materials and seminars related to Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care Network.
- Work collaboratively with the GoHealth CMO and Market President of the network and the operational team to implement best practice operations for the network.
- Manage and collaborate with Associate Medical Director(s), if applicable, and/or Advance Practitioner Lead(s) in all clinical services for their assigned urgent care centers and geographic region.
- Be primarily responsible for the quality of care and all issues related to the clinical caregivers within their assigned region.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 total years of experience: Five (5) years of recent experience as a clinically practicing physician, Five (5) years of supervisory/physician leadership experience
- Current Board-certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or combined Medicine/Pediatrics.
- Current Medical Doctor licensure in the state of Texas
- Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license

Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have current state medical licenses at time of start.
- Current Board-Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or combined Med/Peds.
