UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physicians (MD/DO) who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease to join our Truman Health Services (THS) team.
We have flexible openings available at our Albuquerque main clinic and Roswell satellite clinic, offering part-time or full-time schedules (0.5–1.0 FTE).

Clinic Locations & Schedules
Albuquerque, NM (Main Clinic)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (Thursday extended to 7pm)
Environment: Full interprofessional team onsite
Responsibilities: Provide primary and consultative care for HIV and preventive services, working collaboratively under the Medical Director.
Roswell, NM (Satellite Clinic)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (Thursday 10am–5pm)
Environment: Independent clinical setting with RN case manager onsite and full UNM THS support via telehealth
Responsibilities: Provide primary and HIV care, collaborating remotely with the Albuquerque-based team and community partners (e.g., Alianza of New Mexico).
Both roles include ongoing mentorship, consultation, and free CME opportunities through South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (SCAETC) and ECHO programs.
Position Summary
Under indirect supervision, the Physician provides and manages direct healthcare for a specified patient population, including:
Performing physical exams, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment
Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
Referring to specialists as appropriate
Participating in health promotion and prevention programs
Supporting interprofessional collaboration and quality improvement efforts
Minimum Job Requirements
MD or DO with 3–5 years of related experience (including residency)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease
New Mexico Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
Federal DEA Certification
