Geisinger Wyoming Valley is actively expanding our nationally recognized Otolaryngology department and seeking a skilled ENT physician interested in comprehensive, general ENT, Rhinology or Otology to join our collaborative team of 22+ specialists.
Responsibilities:
Our general practice foundation serves as the cornerstone of our comprehensive ENT program, providing expert care for the full spectrum of otolaryngologic conditions across all age groups. Our experienced general ENT physicians manage everything from routine ear infections and sinusitis to complex airway disorders and hearing loss, ensuring patients receive thorough, evidence-based care close to home. The general practice team works seamlessly with our subspecialty colleagues, providing appropriate referrals when specialized care is needed while maintaining continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
Our skull base and sinus program leads the field through cutting-edge technology and collaborative expertise that delivers exceptional patient outcomes. The Medtronic Stealth Station navigation system provides millimeter accuracy during procedures, while Karl Storz 4K imaging systems with high-definition endoscopy offer unprecedented visualization capabilities. This advanced technology is deployed system-wide, ensuring consistent excellence across all our facilities. The program’s integrated approach extends to comprehensive allergy services, featuring thorough environmental testing and analysis with personalized immunotherapy programs including both subcutaneous and sublingual options. Our collaborative partnership with neurosurgery enables us to tackle the most complex skull base cases through a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring patients receive the specialized expertise their conditions demand. Our otology program represents one of the region’s most advanced hearing restoration programs, combining surgical excellence with comprehensive support services. Dual implant system expertise with both Cochlear and MED-EL systems ensures we can provide the optimal solution for each patient’s unique hearing needs. Our surgical capabilities are enhanced by Zeiss and Leica M320 surgical microscopes with integrated 4K imaging, including ceiling-mounted and floor model microscopes deployed throughout our system for consistent excellence. The program’s comprehensive support structure includes 16 dedicated audiologists providing specialized care, two dedicated Balance Centers for vestibular testing, and four specialized vestibular rehabilitation therapists. This multidisciplinary approach ensures patients receive complete care from initial evaluation through long-term follow-up, with expert support for both hearing restoration and balance disorder management.
