Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS strongly preferred
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p + after hours call for emergencies.14 - 30 day rotations.
Average volume per day: 8-10 patients
Ages seen: All ages
Experience: Urgent Care experience required. Trauma / ED experience preferred. Strong preference for candidate who has suboxone exposer/training for OBOT (office based opioid treatment) and/or/IUD Nexplanon procedures.
Flu Vaccine Required: Yes
Coverage dates needed: Ongoing
Clinic locations: Small remote clinics locations on coast in Southwestern Alaska
Credentialing timeframe: 30 – 45 days
Support staff: Village Clinics have 1-3 community health aides (similar to a medical assistant but with training for emergencies),no other providers on-site. Radiology and ED physicians available electronically or by phone.
Housing onsite: Provided by facility.
Travel Provided
Daily food stipend provided while working in clinic villages.
