Highlights:

Halifax Health Family Medicine Residency Program is currently seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician with strong clinical skills and a passion for teaching. Specifically, with experience and expertise in providing and teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). Experience with POCUS and office procedures would be welcomed as additional skills. Work in a collegial and friendly environment while enjoying the wonderful lifestyle of coastal Florida. Established in 1971, our program is the only residency in this full-service community hospital.   • Physician Governance Council allows for physician input into strategic planning and operational policies for the employed physician group.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Full time, Employed
  • Must hold US citizenship or permanent residency
  • Must be ABMS/AOA Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Completion of residency from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
  • DO degree preferred
  • Dedicated commitment to providing a quality educational experience for residents 
  • Eligible to be licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Florida
