CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR DEVELOPMENTAL-BEHAVIORAL PEDIATRICIAN
NORTON CHILDREN S DEVELOPMENT CENTER, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Children s Medical Group, provides diagnostic services and medical care for children with developmental disorders. In 2022, over 3,000 children and teens with various developmental conditions were seen at the center. The team is composed of developmental-behavioral pediatricians, pediatric psychologists, an advanced practice provider, speech therapists, occupational therapists, a registered dietitian and a licensed clinical social worker who collaborate to deliver evidence-based, family-centered, community-responsive diagnostic and therapeutic services to children with complex developmental needs. The team also works closely with other specialists from the University of Louisville School of Medicine Division of Genetics and Norton Children s Autism Center to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care for children with genetic syndromes and autism spectrum disorder.
