We are currently looking for both full-time and part-time forensic psychologists in the following cities/counties (with potential for remote based on the site):
The Forensic Court Clinic Psychologists are responsible for evaluating mentally ill individuals and individuals with substance use issues brought before the Courts on criminal and/or civil matters in order to determine appropriate dispositions and to refer them to needed services. These Designated Forensic Professionals (or candidates in training) are responsible for fulfilling the statutory obligations of the Department of Mental Health under MGL c. 123 which include, but are not limited to:
As part of the Court Clinic team, Forensic Psychologists provide consultation to the court and help to facilitate and coordinate statutory evaluations assigned to their colleagues. Additionally, Forensic Psychologists play a vital role in triaging cases and making referrals to community providers and services.
Applicants must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and be certified as Designated Forensic Professionals (or qualify to become a candidate in training).
This is for Monday - Friday from 8a-4:30p; 40hrs/week. Hours might vary slightly based on court need. Travel between courts throughout the work day may be required.
