Job Description

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Urologists to join its multi-specialty practices in Manhattan, Mount Sinai South Nassau and Staten Island!

This multi-specialty practice is located at 1441 South Avenue in Staten Island, NY. Staten Island is the southernmost of New York City's 5 boroughs. It is connected to Lower Manhattan via the Staten Island Ferry, which runs across New York Harbor. With easy access to Brooklyn and Central New Jersey, Staten Island is a residential community, with many attractions for families, such as the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Zoo, Botanical Garden, and the Staten Island Children’s Museum. The large patient community typically stays on Staten Island for their routine care. Mount Sinai Doctors Staten Island offers comprehensive care where patients can see a variety of specialties. Additionally, the site has a comprehensive support team, including medical assistants.

Phenomenal opportunity to serve as an Urologist for Mount Sinai’s Department of Urology in Manhattan. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Urology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Position Description:

  • Work with a large primary care referral base and almost every specialty including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and hematology/oncology
  • Serve a diverse population and live in a neighborhood with excellent school districts
  • Support Staff: Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, PA’s, urodynamics, full service on site imaging center with brand new Siemens MRI and PET CT, ultrasound, on site lab
  • EMR system: Epic
  • No teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities required

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 400K to 600K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
