About the Opportunity

North Country Healthcare (NCH) seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist – General / Neurophysiology, to join our expanding outpatient practice in beautiful northern New Hampshire. This is a unique opportunity to practice broad-spectrum neurology in a supportive, rural healthcare environment while enjoying a remarkable quality of life. Play a key role in expanding access to neurology services across our integrated network of three Critical Access Hospitals and primary care practice.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient (office-based, general neurology).
• Location: Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin NH and outreach sites
• Schedule: 4 or 5-day week; no nights or weekends, no call.
• Consults: 0–3 inpatient consults per week.
• Patient volume: 12–16/day.
• Procedures: EEG, NCS, EMG, Botox, lumbar puncture (optional based on interest).
• Support: Dedicated MA, RN, and practice manager; system-wide diagnostic access
• Leadership potential for service line development.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $365,000
• Productivity bonus: wRVU-based
• Sign-on bonus: $25,000
• Citizenship bonus: up to $15,000 annually
• Relocation reimbursement: up to $20,000
• Loan repayment and PSLF eligible
• CME: $4,500 + 2 weeks
• PTO: 5 weeks vacation + 5 sick days + 6 holidays
• Retirement: 403(b) + 457(b)
• Malpractice: Provided with tail coverage
