Psychology Physician Job with Essentia Health in Fargo, ND

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Join the recently established Fargo Behavioral Health Department at Essentia Health.  This opportunity is for an outpatient practice at our South University Family Medicine department in Fargo.  You will be joining an interdisciplinary team consisting of 1 psychiatrist, 1 nurse practitioner, 2 psychologists, and 3 LCSWs.
• Provide psychological testing and evaluation to all ages and psychotherapy specifically to our adult patients
• The department does not provide after-hours call coverage to the hospital or ED. The department provides ED and inpatient consultations upon limited request. The local crises team provides support to ED patients.
• Outreach opportunities at other Essentia Health clinics within daytime driving distance may be possible at some point in time but not initially
• This position would be a combination of virtual and in person visits, with some Telemedicine services potentially in the future in the Outpatient Setting

REQUIREMENTS

• A doctoral degree in psychology
• Eligible for licensure in ND
• Eligible for licensure in MN for future growth and outreach opportunities
• High level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others

• 4 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul
