West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seek an Adolescent Medicine physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
- The successful candidate will join our group of two adolescent medicine physicians, including full-time clinical and combination clinical-research faculty with funding through NIH and private funding mechanisms
- Clinical responsibilities will include seeing adolescent and young adult patients with duties that entail a mix of general adolescent clinic and participation in multidisciplinary clinics, inpatient consults, and telemedicine in collaboration with advance practice providers throughout the state.
- The successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for state medical license
- Completion of a pediatrics, medicine/pediatrics, or family medicine residency program, as well as an adolescent medicine fellowship program
- Must be board certified/eligible in adolescent medicine
