Hospitalist Job at Victoria Emergency Associates in Del Rio, TX

In 2007, VEA added Hospital Medicine through its subsidiary, Victoria Hospitalist Associates. As a physician-owned and managed practice, VEA is proud of the reputation built over the last two decades of partnering with both urban and rural hospitals.

Victoria Hospitalist Associates (VHA) is seeking a full-time Hospital Medicine APP to join our team in Del Rio, TX.

The Hospital Medicine APP will provide care to patients in the inpatient setting, including admission, consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning. No procedures are required.

In addition to providing direct patient care, the physician will work collaboratively with the hospitalist team, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure seamless transitions of care for patients. Seeking coverage Monday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications:

• ACNP, FNP, or PA

• Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
