Occupational Medicine Job at Ballad Health in Glade Spring, VA

Ballad Health Medical Associates is looking for a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site clinic at a local manufacturing facility in Glade Spring, VA. This is a unique opportunity to step into a Monday–Friday schedule with no late nights, weekends, or call while making a real difference in the health, safety, and wellness of employees.

What You'll Do

• Provide care for occupational injuries and illnesses
• Perform pre-employment and return-to-work physicals
• Conduct OSHA-regulated exams (DOT physicals, surveillance exams – training provided)
• Support workplace wellness programs and consult on health hazards
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic testing, and refer to specialists as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a current Virginia license
• Experience in occupational medicine, primary care, ortho, or emergency medicine preferred
• Strong relationship-building skills and initiative
