Neurohospitalist Position with Largest Inpatient Neurology Team in Minnesota

Job Description

Based at our Mercy Hospital Campus, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on one of the region’s most comprehensive neuroscience programs.

This full-time, hospital-based position is ideal for a residency-trained Neurologist who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to advance neurological care on both local and regional levels.

Key Position Details

Step into a collaborative, high-acuity role with a sustainable schedule and supportive team culture:

Schedule & FTE:

  • Full-time is defined as 182 shifts per year (1.0 FTE)
  • 7-on / 7-off schedule for sustainable, predictable work-life balance
  • Day shift: 6am – 4pm (either on-site or tele from home)
  • Swing shift: 4pm – Midnight (swing shifts are from home, all coverage by tele)
  • Night shift: 4pm – 6am (tele from home)
  • Our Physicians are assigned to a main campus, with the ability to pick-up shifts across these facilities.
    • Abbott Northwestern Hospital, South Minneapolis (Comprehensive Stroke Center)
    • United Hospital, St. Paul (Comprehensive Stroke Center)
    • Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids Campus (Thrombectomy capable)

Team Culture:

  • Practice in a large, collegial group of fellowship-trained Neurologists, Neurocritical Care physicians, Neurointerventionalists, and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Work in close partnership with intensivists and neurosurgical subspecialists

        Pay Range

        Pay Range: $358,260 to $390,500 per year

        The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
