Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute-Neurology (NIN) is seeking a Faculty Physician with fellowship training and clinical expertise in Vascular Neurology/Stroke. We invite an inpatient, research-focused Neurologist who possesses an authentic compassion for teaching and leading academic work within our newly established Neurology Residency program at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, NC.
The Department of Neurology at Atrium Health is a network of 90+ neurology providers that supports 15 care locations and 2 regional-based stroke interventional hubs across the greater Charlotte region. Atrium Health boasts a Comprehensive Stroke Center, along with a large and growing network that supports opportunities for research. The growing academic department with the new Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte campus and Neurology Residency programs brings exciting opportunities for innovative patient care, teaching and research.
This position includes an opportunity to join a group of 8 neurohospitalist physicians, 7 advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary stroke network care team.
