Nicklaus  Children's Hospital, (formerly Miami Children's Hospital) a 307-bed freestanding children's hospital, and Level III trauma center, and Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multi-specialty group practice of  Nicklaus Children's Health System, have an exceptional opportunity  for BC/BE Pediatrics residency trained physician with Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience for a Pediatric Urgent Care opportunity  in South Florida (Miami-Dade & Broward Counties)

Nicklaus Children's Hospital owns and operates  a network of  state-of-the-art Urgent Care Centers with immediate physician opportunities throughout South Florida, strategically located in communities that provide easy access for the patients and families that we serve.

General Requirements:

• BC/BE Pediatric Residency trained physicians with pediatric emergency medicine or urgent care experience that involves pediatric suturing, wound management, pediatric trauma and transport, emergency treatment of asthma, croup, respiratory distress, possible sepsis, dehydration, anaphylaxis, febrile illness, acute surgical abdomen, orthopedic cases that require diagnosis, splinting and transport. BLS, PALS and EMS activation and transport knowledge.
• Shifts are  11 am  - 11 pm  - 7 days/week.  1728 annual clinical hours.
• Full time positions available.
• Flexibility in time, open 365 days/year. Alternating holidays - Major and Minor. May require travel to different  Nicklaus Children's Hospital affiliated Urgent Care Centers.
• No Primary Care on site.
• Fast pace environment.
