Job Opportunity for Cardiology Physician in Arizona

About the Opportunity: 

• Clinical Cardiology opportunity with hybrid work hours between office and hospital coverage.
• Dedicated hours in the cath lab can be designed.
• Single-specialty solo Interventional Cardiologist seeking a partner to join a seven-year-old group with 2 mid-levels covering a single hospital location.
• J1 Waiver visa opportunity available and welcome. Other types of visa sponsorship requirements  can be discussed.
• Currently, the only full-time comprehensive  cardiology services serving a county of 130,000, with a predominantly aging population.
• Our group is currently in the growth phase.  Newly built office location with modern facilities. 
• In-house nuclear camera and modern echocardiography and full scale vascular diagnostics and interventions.
• Vein ablations and other vein work.
• Device clinic and implant services.
• Outpatient Cath Lab - Ambulatory Surgical Center setup to go live soon.

• Sierra Vista is a strong retirement community serving the Fort Huachaca Army Base in the neighborhood for the past 7 decades.
• Located one hour from Tucson, AZ, the city is situated in the vicinity of an army base  and has a local community college with a Nursing School serving Cochise County. 
• Local community hospital is a 100-bed hospital and has brand-new facilities with excellent infrastructure, along with  teaching opportunities and residency programs in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine.
• Closest bypass surgery facilities are available in tertiary hospitals in nearby Tucson.

Candidate Requirements:

• Seeking a Clinical Cardiologist
• Board Eligible or Board certified
• ER call coverage 8 days a month including one  weekend is expected.
• The job requires minimal travel, with very little competition from visiting groups from the next county, offering excellent growth and settlement opportunity for all age-groups.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $500,000/year for first 3 years
• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• $10,000 relocation assistance
• Benefits include 401K with employer match.
