Seeking an Outpatient and Inpatient Testing Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, is seeking Licensed Psychologists to join our expanding psychiatry department in Greenville, SC. As we grow our clinical, educational, and research missions, we’re looking for candidates passionate about inpatient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This role involves providing psychological assessment, testing, and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults across a range of psychiatric conditions. Services include individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as patient, community, and student education.

Ideal candidates will have experience in inpatient and day treatment settings and an interest in teaching. Faculty appointments are available through the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, located on Prisma Health’s Greenville Memorial Medical Campus.

Details:

• Must be licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry and day treatment programs preferred, working with an interdisciplinary team to provide psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. There is an opportunity for some psychotherapy as well.
• Academic faculty role with opportunities to teach residents, fellows and medical students.
• Involvement in developing and implementing educational plans within a collaborative team setting.
• Protected time for clinical teaching and didactic preparation.
• Opportunity to participate in residency program administration, including interviews and committee work.
