Psychiatrist Job at Medpsych Health Services in Rockville, MD

Medpsych Health Services is an integrated mental health service provider. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, competent, compassionate, and thorough psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and medication treatment to clients in a confidential and caring environment with special consideration to biological, psychological, and physical health.

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, part-time, and/or full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner willing to work with the efficient and dedicated staff at locations in Rockville and Frederick. This is a TeleHealth position until the COVID-19 pandemic is controlled.

Duties

• Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments, providing medication management
• Maintaining patient records, treatment planning, and communicating with the treatment team/family/other clinicians, as required.
• Care coordination as needed

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice in Maryland (fully licensed and unrestricted)
• DEA and CDS license
• Must have a minimum 1-year experience working as PMHNP
• Detail-oriented, compassionate, and team player
