Location: White Plains NY, Yorkers, NY, or  West Chester, NY 

Part Time, No nights, No weekends.

 

LOOKING FOR A PSYCHIATRIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM

NY Ketamine Infusions is the country s largest and most experienced ketamine infusion practice with offices in NYC and Long Island, with additional offices planned.

We are looking for a dedicated, part-time psychiatrist to practice alongside an eminent leader in the use of ketamine infusions for the treatment of depression, PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Successful candidate must be patient-focused, compassionate, communicative, thorough and committed to the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories.
  • Consult with patients, and their other providers when necessary, for intakes and evaluations before, during, and after treatment.
  • Address patients questions and concerns.
  • Various administrative tasks (charting notes, calls, emails, etc.)
  • Mentoring of medical staff.
  • Help implement new, evidence-based therapies into the practice.
  • Assisting in the overall growth and development of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Part Time available. No nights, no weekends.
  • 100% outpatient patient base
  • Must be 100% committed to COVID safety protocols (we do not treat COVID patients; we have strict policies aimed at COVID prevention).
  • Must provide proof of COVID vaccination/booster prior to starting employment.

Qualifications/Education:

  • An active, non-restricted medical license in New York. Additional Connecticut and/or New Jersey license a plus
  • An active DEA license
  • Graduate of a four-year college and accredited United States medical school with completion of an ACGME-approved Residency in Psychiatry program
  • Board-certified or board-eligible
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health clinic or private practice
  • Interest in ketamine and other interventional evidence-based psychiatric treatments
  • Patient-focused and compassionate
  • Good organizational and communication skills
