Job Description

The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks a dynamic career-oriented physician to join the faculty of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis Center. Candidates who have successfully completed a fellowship and are board-certified/board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology will be considered. The division has a comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center (pediatric and adult), a comprehensive sleep disorders program, a technology-dependent center, aerodigestive, asthma, and general pulmonary clinics.

The position will have both clinical and academic responsibilities. In support of our academic endeavors, we have a state-of-the-art Pediatric Clinical Research Center, we have an active CFF TDN Center and Rutgers RBHS has a Clinical and Translational Science Award.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will develop a strong clinical and teaching base for medical students, residents and fellows.
  • Candidates expected to develop research projects. Startup grant funding is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical school program including formal specialty training in Pediatric Pulmonology.
  • Candidates must be board certified in Pediatrics with board eligibility in pulmonary medicine and/or sleep medicine.
  • Candidates expected to provide ambulatory and inpatient care including bronchoscopies.
  • Training in Sleep medicine is an asset.
