Women’s Health Associates was founded in 1976. It started as an independent medical practice by two physicians (A Fred Williams, M.D. and Robert McDavid, M.D). Lee Trammell, M.D. joined the group 4 years later. This small group grew and expanded into a full-service women’s health clinic in the decades to follow. Today, Women’s Health Associates has grown to have 10 physicians. Women’s Health Associates recently celebrated 45 years of being a well-respected medical practice and women’s health center serving patients throughout Mid-Missouri. For over 45 years, Women’s Health Associates has provided obstetrical and gynecological care in a friendly, caring, and confidential environment. As soon as our patients walk through our doors into our women’s health clinic, they know they’re in good hands. Many of our patients have developed close relationships with our physicians that span many years. We’re known for our highly personal service. Our physicians are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because we know it is important to our patients to always be there. Medical issues aren’t confined to weekdays from 9:00-5:00, and neither are we.
