The Vituity Difference

Vituity is a physician owned and led multispecialty partnership that has been raising the standard of care and transforming how, when and where it is delivered for 50 years. Our 5,000 doctors and clinicians care for nearly 8 million patients a year across 450 practice locations and nine acute care specialties.

The Practice

Edmonds has a population of approximately 42,000 people. Established 100 years ago as a logging town, Edmonds is known for its picturesque location, friendly neighborhoods, well-respected school district, and a growing community college. Many homes offer breathtaking views of Puget Sound, lush forests, and the majestic Olympic mountains. Thanks to its prime location, Edmonds is a short drive away from the best that the Seattle area has to offer - including museums, restaurants, theaters, professional and college sports, the vibrant waterfront, the Space Needle, and recreation.

Located just fifteen miles north of Seattle, Swedish/Edmonds is a full service hospital (Swedish.org). In 2010, the facility received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from the nation's leading independent healthcare ratings company, Health-Grades. The hospital's ED is designated as a Level Four Trauma Center, using all board-certified emergency physicians and physician assistants. Swedish/Edmonds is accredited by the Joint Commission and provides a full range of medical services, emergency medicine, and diagnostic services including imaging, laboratory, cardiac, pathology. Swedish/Edmonds has the only inpatient mental health acute care facility in Snohomish County.
