The Practice

Antioch is a growing community located in Contra Costa County, one of the few Bay Area cities that still offers affordable housing. It is known as the "Gateway to the Delta" - the point where the Sacramento and the San Joaquin Rivers come together and continue on to the Pacific Ocean. The Delta is a wonderful place to escape the fast pace of daily life, whether by camping near the water in a tent or RV, or by swimming, fishing, water skiing, or floating down the river on a houseboat. 

Sutter Delta Medical Center is located about 30 miles east of Oakland, California. The facility serves the greater East Contra Costa County area, as well as parts of Solano and San Joaquin Counties. The new emergency department provides Level II emergency care to patients 24 hours daily, 7 days a week. The emergency department care includes assessment, stabilization, and treatment. The emergency department works with other hospital departments to ensure that appropriate and timely diagnostic procedures are obtained, and that appropriate dispositions occur based on the patients needs and in consultation with patients and/or their significant others.
