Sovah Health Danville

For more than 120 years, Sovah Health-Danville has served the Dan River community. A 250-bed academic community hospital and LifePoint facility, SHD is the most comprehensive source of healthcare in the Dan River Region of Virginia and North Carolina. SHD provides services in more than 25 medical specialties in addition to offering the largest surgical capacity in the area. The facility is also home to residents, medical students and other healthcare students from the many nearby universities so teaching opportunities may be available for those with academic interests.
