Hospital
Southwestern Medical Center is a Joint Commission-accredited full-service hospital with 199 beds. The physician staff of 150 provides care in 31 medical specialties. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services and round-the- clock imaging and laboratory services as well as comprehensive surgical services and diagnostic imaging. Southwestern Medical Center also has a 59-bed Med/Surg Unit, an 8-bed ICU and comprehensive Cardiopulmonary, Rehabilitative and Women's Health programs. Providing advanced medical care has been a long tradition at Southwestern Medical Center. The Southwestern Neurosciences Unit offers advanced treatment for a variety of neurological diseases and conditions, including brain tumors, aneurysms, stroke, disease of the spine, Alzheimer's, seizures, and Parkinson's Disease. Other advanced medical technologies include a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Non- Invasive Cardiovascular Studies, Radiation Oncology, Sleep Diagnostic Systems, Geriatric, Child and Adolescent Behavior Health Services and Wound Healing Center.

Located just 90 easy miles southwest of Oklahoma City on Interstate 44, Lawton is the third-largest city in Oklahoma. Fort Sill, located just north of the city, is home of the United States Army Field Artillery. Visitors to the Lawton/Fort Sill Historic Landmark and Museum, visitors can see a large collection of 20th century artillery known as the Cannon Walk, view historic buildings originally constructed by Buffalo Soldiers and visit the famous Native American burial sites of Geronimo and Quanah Parker. The Mattie Beal Home, a 14-room Italian and Greek Revival-style mansion constructed in 1909, sits on a portion of the 160 acres selected by Mattie Beal when her name was drawn in the 1901 Oklahoma Territory Land Lottery. The home has been completely restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Holy City of the Wichitas is a replica of the city of Jerusalem with 22 buildings made of native granite stone. The nation's longest running Easter passion play, The Prince of Peace, is held here each year in a natural amphitheater.
Recreation Lawton is located in the heart of the Great Plains Country, an area well known for its abundant lakes and world-class fishing and hunting. Mount Scott, which rises 2,500 feet above the plains, provides some of the most breathtaking scenery in the state and a chance to view free-roaming bison, longhorn cattle, white tail deer and elk. The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, established in 1901, provides a habitat for large grazing animals on its 59,020 acres. The refuge is also home to approximately 400 species of animals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and more than 800 plant species.
